Things for OAR

Personal Hygiene Items -- clients who are released from incarceration frequently have no money and no family support to purchase essential grooming items such as soap, wash cloth/towel, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, comb, etc.

Construction Tools (heavy duty) -- many clients successfully find work in the construction trades, but do not have funds to purchase the necessary equipment such as hammers, hard hats, work gloves, tape measures, tool belts, etc.

Restaurant & Grocery Store Gift Certificates (on the bus line) -- clients may enroll in an employment incentives program upon finding employment. This program offers on-going support on how to keep a job, handle job-related situations, and provides recognition for maintaining consistent employment. These gift certificates are especially appreciated by clients who are often in minimum-wage jobs.
